June.27,2012-Patch for KingView6.53

Instructuion: At the beginning of the year 2012, we received a notice from ICS-CERT USA concerning vulnerability in the NetGenius process and directory traversal vulnerability on KingView web server. KingView with the version 65.30.17249( TouchExplorer: 65.30.2003.17249; TouchVew: 65.30.2003.17376) and also the previous version is affected. WellinTech timely fixed the two security vulnerabilities which cause a buffer overflow that can be exploited to crash the service and allow an unauthorized remote user access to any file on the system running KingView.NetGenius.exe and Touchvew.exe are updated. To protect against these cybersecurity risks, please update KingView6.53 with this patch.
Install the patch: Make sure Touchvew is stopped. Install the patch following installshield wizard, and choose the install path of KingView 6.53 which has been installed as the patch install path. Finishing update, the version of NetGenius.exe is 65.20.2002.10302 and Touchvew.exe is 65.30.2003.17377.
